MEET THE TEAM
Mr. Powell founded PII after more than a decade of experience in facilities management positions, including being general manager of Harvey's Janitorial Service; director of housekeeping for Riverside Regional Center and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital; and in the facilities management department at Norfolk State University. Over the course of his career, Mr. Powell has been a general manager at several different government contract locations, overseeing a combined total of 363 employees, including eight contract managers. In addition, he has designed and implemented housekeeping programs in four different healthcare organizations, and designed and implemented centralized laundry and janitorial programs in both the educational industry and government installations.
Ms. Fonda J. Powell Ms. Powell has extensive background as administrative operations. Her responsibilities include preparing invoices, proposals, balancing corporation expense accounts, maintains computerized payroll system for 400 employees, union dues, taxes quarterly and annual company reports. Ms. Powell operates multi line PBX system, production manager for layout ads and graphic designs.
As co-owner of Harveys Janitorial Services, Ms. Clark manages operations of the company including communicating with contracting specialist in all contracting agencies to ensure scheduled work is performed. She works closely Quality Control Inspectors to assist in understanding the required work according to contract specifications. Ms. Clark recognizes unforseen challenges and identifies potential of each company employee while stimulating creativity, critical thinking and strong self esteem through positive values and diverse training. Changing structures of contracts which required working with safety managers to enforce new safety patterns and OSHA standards. Redesigned schedules to improve and maximize production and cost effectiveness.
